Brandon loves the impact that he can have on the lives of his clients. He works with them and supports them in their growth, whether that’s as an athlete climbing the ranks or a founder building a company.
In 2016, Brandon was named by Investment News as one of the Top 40 Financial Advisers under age 40.
Before AWM, he was a professional athlete by way of UCLA.
Career in Banking and Finance
Prior to founding AWM, Brandon served as an assistant vice president with Union Bank’s Northern California Corporate Banking team.
Brandon is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) professional and holds the Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement (CIPM®) from the Chartered Financial Analyst Institute (CFA).
In 2018, Brandon earned the Certified Private Wealth Advisor® certification through the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
Brandon is the co-author of “PAID: How To Maximize Your Signing Bonus, Simplify The Money Game and Secure Your Future.” He also co-hosts The Athlete CEO and AWM Insights podcasts.
Former Professional Baseball Player
Earlier, he was a professional athlete having been drafted by the Houston Astros out of UCLA.
While at UCLA, Brandon was the team’s co-captain and graduated with a BA in Sociology and a minor in Political Science.
Personal Life
Brandon resides in Glendale, CA with his wife Anne, who is a Chartered Financial Analyst, and two beautiful children, Luke Joshua & Charlotte Grace. Brandon is passionate about wine, cycling and loves being behind the camera in his free time.
